Terms of Use
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These terms govern your use of underafter.com. By visiting or using this site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Acceptance of Terms
Under After may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the current version.
These terms cover underafter.com only. The Under After shop at shop.underafter.com is a separate storefront with its own terms, returns, and shipping policies. For anything relating to an order, refer to the policies published there.
Use of This Site
You may read, browse, and share this site, and you may quote or reference the work shown here with attribution to Under After and to the client whose project is described.
You may not:
- Republish case-study imagery, video, or copy in bulk, or reproduce a project in a way that substitutes for visiting the site
- Present the work shown here as your own, or as the work of anyone other than Under After and the named client
- Interfere with the operation of the site, or attempt to gain access to any part of it that is not published
Automated access is permitted within the limits set by the robots file at underafter.com/robots.txt, which grants named crawlers access to this site and to its Markdown alternates. Nothing in these terms restricts access that the robots file allows.
Intellectual Property
The design, copy, code, and organization of this site belong to Under After. The Under After name and mark belong to Under After.
Case studies describe work produced for clients. The brands, logos, product imagery, and trademarks shown in that work belong to those clients, not to Under After, and appear here to document the studio's role in producing them. Nothing on this site transfers any right in a client's brand or grants a license to use it.
If you hold rights in material published on this site and believe it appears here in error, contact studio@underafter.com with enough detail to identify the material and Under After will review it.
No Unsolicited Submissions
Under After does not accept unsolicited creative concepts, designs, proposals, or business ideas. Material of that kind sent through the contact form or by email is not treated as confidential and creates no obligation of any sort. If you send it anyway, Under After is free to disregard it, and is under no duty to return it, review it, or keep it secret.
Third-Party Links
Case studies link to client websites and other external destinations. Under After does not control those sites, does not monitor them, and is not responsible for their content, their availability, or their handling of your data. A link is not an endorsement. Visiting a linked site puts you under that site's own terms.
No Offer or Engagement
The content of this site is published for information. It is not an offer, a proposal, a quote, or a commitment to perform work, and reading it or submitting the contact form does not create a client relationship with Under After. An engagement begins only under a written agreement signed by both parties.
Disclaimer of Warranties
This site is provided as is and as available. Under After makes no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, and makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Under After disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Under After is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, or from any inability to use it, including lost profits or lost data, even if the possibility of such damages was known. Under After's total liability for any claim relating to this site is limited to one hundred United States dollars.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in force. A delay or failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute relating to this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.
Changes to These Terms
Under After may update these terms from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. Please review this page periodically.
