Extra Crunch is a premium subscription service for TechCrunch's most loyal audience. The subscription offers readers "faster and deeper" content and features on topics, along with utilities "to help them consume news in a more effecient way."
I was hired by Dustin Senos, of Small Animal Studios, to work with the TechCrunch stakeholders on the design of the Extra Crunch brand identity while his team focused on the user experience and product design. The goal was to create an identity that communicated a "premium, indispensable, and exclusive" feel and fit within the existing TechCrunch brand architecture.
